As a healer who promotes deepening your relationship with the Most High and your spiritual team (your guiding ancestors, guardian angels, and light beings who are ordained to protect you), I will be the first to admit that I have not always felt supported or protected. This is a result of having been through many initiations and trials that have challenged me physically, spiritually, and mentally.

It is important to acknowledge that not feeling supported and not being supported are two different things. However, the feeling of not being supported can feel shattering and heartbreaking especially if you have been through situations that most people cannot relate to or have deep wounds around persecution. These feelings stem from being in the unknown, unfamiliar territory, and unjust situations. As I write this blog, I am thinking about the times I have felt these emotions and to put it bluntly, it feels raw.

Navigating this feeling, in my experience, is not necessarily straightforward. It calls for us to reckon with the emotions and questions that surface. Simultaneously, it calls for us to also pay attention to the subtle yet powerful ways God uses to heal, encourage, and redirect us. The social media post that speaks to your soul, the unexpected phone call, the subtle path that opens for you in a slow yet deliberate way. There is power in subtlety. The quiet signs and synchronicities let us know that we are being supported and that we have always been, even when we have not been paying attention to the signs.

It is the innerstanding of this realization that will give you the quiet confidence you need to feel at peace and ease. The workings of the Most High is not always loud, yet it is potent. There are times where I have received answers and solutions with ease from sources from the most mundane yet unexpected places. For example, when I was learning

While God’s presence has always been with you, at times you may have felt left out or felt like you had to shoulder all the heaviness by yourself. What if I told you that this may also be due to conditioning from your environment and the absorption of other people’s imprints. I grew up around people who echoed certain principles; struggle to receive abundance, do more to get more, respond to uncertainty and the unknown with only fear, confusion, and anger. In many cases, these principles do not work for the spiritually gifted person. This does not mean we cannot or should not experience denser emotions, but ultimately, we are usually more wired to treat the unknown with more lighter states such as curiosity and joy.

Often times, we must purge the dominant narratives of how we ought to feel and react while leaning into our own subtleties that is aligned with the Most High. Our nervous system must understand that we are safe despite what or who comes against us. Sometimes it is what seems to be the ‘lack of effort’ that can trigger our nervous system. I can recount many times where I felt like I should do more only for what I was looking for to find me when I was doing less while talking aligned action.

It is important to also realize that as you learn to embody your God-given identity, you understand that you are not a victim. The spiritual path, especially for those who yield immense power is not the path of weakness and victimhood. While you may have felt like the world was against you at one point or that you were doomed to live a miserable life of isolation, as you learn to use your gifts, you will be taught that you must stand firm in your power. It’s because the warfare does not necessarily stop when you are a spiritually powerful person. Simultaneously, you cannot live your life in fear or anxiety because you have been ANOINTED with the power to defeat your enemies. Rest assured, your spiritual team will comfort you, but they will also not entertain you embodying defeat. It’s an insult to your lineage and the divine power you have been endowed with. So while things can be difficult, use the tools you have been blessed with.

As you do, the Most High, your spiritual team, and your guiding ancestors will be by your side fighting with and for you.
