Staying divinely aligned, the ego, and trust

A commenter recently wrote that they found it difficult to stay aligned. This is the case for many people due to deeper factors, some which I will explain in this blog.
The collective push and pull
Staying in Divine alignment can be extremely difficult when we are constantly being bombarded by news of scarcity, fear, and insecurity. How many times have you logged onto media just to see another failed marriage, women being degraded for simply existing, or another article stating how the economy has gone pear shaped. You see, a lot of the fear and insecurity we face don’t only come from traumas we experience intimately. They are also shaped by our collective struggles which at most times are distorted, one-sided, and don’t offer practical solutions.
Fears stemming from collective struggles can influence our willingness to remain divinely aligned with the Most High. For example, imagine you are in a season in your life where you deeply feel instructed to take life slow, or to re-direct your energy towards your passions. Your willingness to stay aligned may be influenced by collective fears on what it means to be productive. “If I am not constantly burning myself out, am I being productive?” You may ask.
Similarly, if you feel called to re-direct your energy away from romantic relationships, you may think of yourself as crazy. After all, our societies bombard us with superficial and unhealthy portrayals of romance while making it seem like if you are not constantly aspiring to relationships, you might as well be from Mars.
How does one reckon with these ‘pressures’ so we can happily stay divinely aligned?
Firstly, we must understand that these collective fears are not laws written in stone. While there is a lot of chaos happening globally, responding with fear and making them out to be set in stone can solidify them. Remember, we are not obliged to follow these so-called rules nor do we benefit from internalising the fears. Constantly ask yourself, do I Inherently have this fear or was this triggered by something I heard, saw, or watched? Or perhaps someone I interacted with?
These fears we have are constantly being shaped by others and lacking grounding in our bodies and spirit. Ask the Most High and your spiritual team to not only give you signs but to help you clear those energies away (I highly recommend doing a burn and release to help with this). Understand that amidst the chaos, your steps are being ordered and the fears and limiting beliefs may arise - not to put you back into a state of fear, but to help you release them - over and over again.
The intimate wounds of feeling lost
There are times where you may have felt lost or times where you felt powerless and out of control. Periods like this generate fear and insecurity which can re-surface when we are in seasons where we feel out of our depth. Perhaps periods of being around toxic people made you question if you were truly being guided. Or perhaps experiencing some traumas made you question if you were truly loved by the Most High. It is crucial to remember that our difficult seasons can be alchemised into more joy and success should we move along with the wisdom of the Most High. Continuously clearing our energies of what no longer serves us while letting the Most High in to guide our steps.
Those feelings of feeling lost teach us to submit to the Divine and identify which parts of our ego need to be re-evaluated. Perhaps you need to become more okay with not always having the full picture, or you need to become more comfortable with making decisions that only make sense to you.
Understand that alignment elevates us in our God-given purpose and that collective and intimate fears need not cripple you. Doing the energetic work
allows us to flow within our alignment can make all seasons smoother.
Wishing you all love and alignment!
